Who We Are

The Problem We Saw

Nigeria's youth face a convergence of challenges: moral decline, absent mentorship, weak parenting structures, tribal and religious conflict, and a lack of safe platforms for self-expression. Athletes, in particular, often retire without transferable skills, leaving them vulnerable in a competitive economy.

Why Sport?

Sport is more than competition — it is a universal language that crosses ethnic, tribal, religious, and socioeconomic divides. On the field, differences fade and shared purpose emerges. Suns Initiative harnesses this power to build character, foster unity, and create lasting change.
